agree  NetLynx: Egentlig er 'thrust' en [fysisk] 'kraft' frem for 'tryk'; derfor kunne du også bruge 'trykkraft' - og i dette specielle tilfælde, hvor der er tale om tyngdekraften på tagkonstruktionen, 'vægt'

agree  Joern Wennerstroem: Gyldendal siger blot "thrust" = tryk (i denne sammenhæng). Om det er lodret eller vandret er hip som hap, men i sammenhængen må der være tale om lodret tryk, selvom en tagkonstruktion altid har både en vandret og lodret trykkomponent.
