English term or phrase: intervention
I am translating a car manufacturer's (XXX) standard completion form for their mechanics who provide on site service to the car manufacturer's customers. The standard form is called XXX INTERVENTION.
Could someone please let me know whether this should be translated "MELLEMKOMST" eller "INTERVENTION" eller mske noget helt andet?
Lone
Danish translation:Mellemkomst
Explanation:
Mellemkomst is probably okay, especially if it is something rather more legal and if it is a form then it is likely to be. The word is a little bit stiff though. Intervention is not quite appropriate (I would say) as it more refers to politics etc.? I hope this helps, I had a similar problem in a manual I translated recently.

Thank you for confirming 'mellemkomst'.
I am still waiting for the customer's confirmation of this term before I translate. I have a feeling that the form was translated from either German or Dutch to English, and now the customer wants it translated into Danish.
