In a brochure describing a software development company, in the section on 'Who we are', the term 'boutique software development centre' is used.

How would this best translated into Danish?

... or something along those lines depending on which kind of company it refers to.

My guess would be that 'boutique' is used to mean specialized here (or maybe small and specialized to indicate that the company offers a service of high quality and is very dedicated to each client's needs).
