Marketing - Marketing / Market Research
English term or phrase: treat

Raisins make a good treat.

I try to balance between healthy and 'treat' foods for my family.

I promise the children treats if they are good (her kunne man måske skrive "belønning")?

På forhånd tak!

slik/livret/belønning
Explanation:

I netop denne tekst passede Jeanettes bidrag perfekt - især "livret". God sommer til alle. Vi ses på Als!

rosinen i pølseenden

Explanation:
rosinen i pølseenden - men udtrykket er næppe brugbart her ;)

When I was young a 'treat' was something more exciting than raisins - and not necessarily edible - a day out with a favourite aunt for instance. Not something that happened every day... But that was forty or fifty years ago!

Now you hear of 'daily treats' - such as raisins, a hot, scented bubble bath... so either we live in teh lap of luxury, or the word has been devaluated. But that's how language develops!
