I have already posted this question in the Eng-Eng pair (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1602576) and it has been suggested that this might be a direct translation from Danish. Does it ring any bell to you?

This expression appears in a selling-in presentation containing in-store promotion guidelines for a new line of toys (how to use headers, POP displays, showcases etc). There is a picture of a big in-store display and below it there's a caption that reads "4 section store".

I thought it might have something to do with the so-called "core themes" of the series (Police, Construction, Fire and Train), because there are exactly four of them, but the display shows also some of the "extended themes" products (Airport, Rescue etc.). the link to your site doesn't work. Your description makes me think of a way to divide up the store and the way it is presented to visitors. I don't know if this makes sense in your actual project? For instance, when a tobacco company sells in their products to a local drug store, they will try to put their products as near the counter/cash as possible in order to maximise the clients' attention to their products.

the link to your site doesn't work. Your description makes me think of a way to divide up the store and the way it is presented to visitors. I don't know if this makes sense in your actual project? For instance, when a tobacco company sells in their products to a local drug store, they will try to put their products as near the counter/cash as possible in order to maximise the clients' attention to their products.
