Requirements of inactivation of main parts of firearms
(1) Inactivation of barrels:
a) A thread must be cut in the chamber and a threaded plug of at least 30 mm for long barrels and 20 mm for short barrels must be driven in and affixed by welding in a manner that prevents ammunition from being loaded in the chamber.
b) All separating walls between individual chambers in revolver drums must be removed at least at a width equivalent with the calibre in a manner that only one wall of 1/3 of the entire length of the drum at maximum may remain at the end near the muzzle or the fire-wall |
