ferrule? Explanation: According to wikipedia: "In restorative dentistry: margin of a cast crown that stabilizes root-canal treated teeth". The term is used untranslated in Danish in shipbuilding, fishing, engineering. I could not find any dentistry-related google hits in Danish with ferrule though so I am not sure. No luck with Gyldendals Medicins/Odontologis either (sure you tried that already :-) Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrule |
