Yes, I don't think "site" refers to a location either. I was just wondering whether it refers to a website, which would be the logical assumption. If it is an offline program, I suppose it doesn't refer to a "site" in that sense here but rather as in a site in an offline independent network. In any case, I think you could use "træstruktur/-visning" or "hierarkisk struktur/visning" as translation since that is what is meant by "tree style" and I also think it is fine to leave out "site", since it will most likely be obvious from the context in which it appears that it refers to the structure of the data.

As I only have the string it is really hard to say, but I would think that it is to do with the program rather than a location.

Could you give a bit more information about the context? Does "site" refer to a website here or could it refer to something else like the location where the monitoring unit is used?

Jeg fandt det udtrykt som et "Explorer-like tree" - Kan man kort og godt paa dansk bruge "Explorer stil" da det ser ud til at vaere den accepterede standard? Men det skal jo nok ogsaa lige vendes med din klient :-)
