The context:

Setting up *PRODUCTNAME* for imaging includes placing the sample on the stage and selecting the appropriate filter set for the fluorescent probe used TO LABEL your sample.

Jeg er rimeligt med mht. mikroskoper, men ovenstående driller lidt mht. den specifikke, danske betegnelse. En googling giver: "....the main techniques are labelling with fluorescent stains" som jeg så fluks ville oversætte til: mærkning med osv.
