Jeg har set aldehyd brugt alene.

"Aldehyd hører til de mest toksiske desinfektionsmidler, de optages i betydelig mængde i gummi og plast, de kan fremkalde kraftig slimhindeirritation og svimmelhed, (Cidex, Deson,Korsolin)."

I agreed above with one of the answers but want to point out that the spelling is the same as in English but without the "e" on the end. I suggest you cross-check with the Institut for Farmakologi i Danmark.
