English term or phrase: Pile

Fibre pile, which provides very good insulation, is recommended for cold days with a low or moderate activity level. However many people find that they become too hot and start to perspire when temperatures are moderate and the work is intensive.

I have a notion that "fiberpels" migt be the term to go for. Pile means "luv" among other things...

Det er et forslag - Jeg tænkt først på fløjl, da du nævnte ´pile´og ´luv´

Men det viser sig, at det nok skal hedde plys, når det er kunststof, f. eks.

Du har ret i, at det, der hedder ´pile´på engelsk er ´luv´på dansk, og jeg ved ikke, om det bruges så meget. Heller ikke på engelsk for den sags skyld!

Jeg vil blive meget fristet til at skrive om til ´plysset´ eller noget i den stil, men jeg er jo ikke indfødt ...
