English to Danish translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Tourism & Travel
English term or phrase: junk bank
The text is for Danish tourists in Finland. The full sentence goes: "The name of the bar translates roughly as ‘junk bank’ – basically a place that buys back your bad debts".

It refers to a bar in Kallio, Finland. Its name in Finnish is "Soittoruokala Roskapankki". Can anyone help?

agree  Torben AXELSEN: Skodbank er nok lidt mere nedladende sin betydning, hvor der i det finske navn ligger en hel del sarkasme. Spistedet ligger i bydelen (fi.)Kallio/(sv.) Berghäll ikke langt fra Helsingfors centrum. http://www.resekoll.se/2008/11/12/helsingfors-skonaste-bar

-> Tak! Skynder mig at sige, at jeg ikke forstår finsk; gik alene efter 'junk bank'.
