Het is inderdaad zeer moeilijk om zonder context een heel precieze vertaling te vinden.
Een woordenboek dat mij voor financiële dingen vaak heel goed helpt is 'Terminologie Financieel Management' van uitgeverij Kluwer (verkrijgbaar op CD-Rom).
cash rate = liquiditeitscoëfficiënt (percentage/hoeveelheid liquide middelen dat/die bijv een bank moet hebben, of ook percentage/hoeveelheid dat/die de liquide middelen kunnen opbrengen - in deze dus synoniem van 'cash return')
cash return staat er niet als dusdanig in, maar ik veronderstel (weer: moeilijk zonder context) dat het gaat om de 'return' die de cash levert, met andere woorden de 'opbrengst van de liquide middelen'.
Hopelijk helpt dit een beetje. |

Zonder context moeilijk te zeggen, maar cash is cash en rate cq. return betekent rentevoet, rentetarief cq. opbrengst.
