Explanation:
Klinkt lang zo mooi niet, maar als het om "siding" van een huis (maar ook houten schutting) gaat zoals hier:

dan heet dat in het nederlands kennelijk gewoon (horizontale of vertikale) planken:

De planken zijn (huis) wel aan een lange kant dunner dan de andere, zodat ze makkelijk overlappen.
