gewoon bevatten: een pcr-primer is een klein stukje DNA, dat als begin voor de duplicatie van een specifiek stuk DNA dient. Dit beginstukje DNA wordt zo gekozen dat er knipplaatsen in zitten, zodat het vermeerderde stuk DNA later eenvoudig losgeknipt kan worden, in dit geval door de (restrictie)enzymen EcoR1 en Xho1.

ik merk dat het al een tijd geleden is dat ik hiermee werkte: de knipplaatsen zijn niet bedoeld voor het losknippen - het vermeerderde DNA is al een los stuk - maar juist voor het later 'plakken' van het vermeerderde DNA, in een ander stuk DNA. |
