Ik begrijp dat het om vrije radicalen gaat. Maar vooral 'site' maakt het me moeilijk. Hoe kan ik dat het beste vertalen? Deze zin maakt de context misschien iets duidelijker: "Free-radical sites for polymerization are formed by reaction between primary initiator free-radical fragments and vinyl monomer molecules". Explanation:
een goede term wil me nu niet inschieten, polymerisatie is errug lang geleden voor mij :-).
Het gaat om die plaats in het monomeer-molecuul, die door reactie met de initiator een reactief centrum voor de radicaal-reactie is geworden
