Is het "het datapad" of "de datapad"? Google zegt wel "het", maar ik ben er niet zo zeker van, omdat "pad" hier afgeleid is van een Engels woord en dus een bepaald lidwoord krijgt (althans volgens de regels, je zegt ook "de coffepad" (van Dale)).

Explanation:
Volgens mij is het 'de'. De hits die Google geeft op 'het datapad' gaan over een datapath en niet over een 'pad' zoals de iPad. Als je "+de datapad" als zoekterm ingeeft in Google vind je de juiste context en daar wordt 'de' gebruikt.
