English to Dutch translations [PRO]

This line is from a text about a relay. They talk about dry contact voltage and wetting voltage. I think the dry contact is just translated to 'droog contact' but I've got no idea what the wetting voltage is called in Dutch...

Explanation:
Wat ik er van begrijp is dat het gaat om een soort drempelspanning die nodig is om een eventuele contactweerstand (bijvorbeeld t.g.v. oxidatie) te doorbreken. Drempelspanning zou dan naar mijn mening een prima vertaling zijn. Bij het googlen zie je echter dat die term vrijwel uitsluitend betrekking heeft op halfgeleiders. Ik zou het daarom houden op een letterlijke vertaling, dus bevochtigingsspanning, ook al komt die term niet voor bij het googlen. Je vindt wel de term 'bevochtigingsstroom' (zie de referentie hieronder van mijnwoordenboek.nl) , en hoewel stroom wat anders is dan spanning in de elektrotechniek, komt het in dit geval wel op hetzelfde neer.

My understanding of a "wetting" voltage is exactly what you describe, that is: there is sufficient energy (voltage or spark) to "burn" through or "Wet" any corrosion or contamination on the switch contacts and thus there is a low ohm connection achieved.
I believe that this is a carry-on description from earlier days when contact closures could sometimes be made very delicately, such as by the physical movement of a bimetal strip where there is, very little physical force involved with the contact closure as temperature moves the bimetal strip. In this type of application, the lack of a physical force that forced switch contacts together caused problems because there was not enough energy to overcome the corrosion on the switch contacts.
The solution to this problem was to construct the "switch" so that the contact closure was actually a blob of mercury in a slim tube that was rotated by a bimetal strip. As the bimetal strip expands or contracts, the mercury blob moved either in contact with or away from contact between the switch contacts. If it was in contact with the contacts they were "wetted" (with the mercury) and if not they were "dry".
Another interpretation of a "dry" contact is that there is no voltage potential on either side of the contact.

Asker: ik heb zelf gekeken of ik een betere term dan bevochtigingsspanning kon vinden, en volgens mij gaat het om de minimale spanning waarbij een relaiscontact nog gesloten blijft, na een lange periode waar er dan ook oxidatie optreedt. Dat heet de houdspanning van een relais, dus ik gebruik die term. Bevochtigingsspanning gaat meer over een kwikschakelaar, waarbij inderdaad de contacten 'bevochtigd' worden door de kwik.
