Ik weet niet of dit de beste vertaling is, maar 'service' staat in ieder geval voor het aantal dienstjaren waarover werknemers pensioenrechten opbouwen (waarbij 'jaren' staat voor een gewerkte periode, niet per se hele kalenderjaren). Als ze loonsverhoging krijgen, kan het bedrag van het pensioen nog steeds toenemen terwijl er geen dienstjaren meer worden opgebouwd (zie de tweede link). |
