Je moet deze zin anders lezen, nl. bedrijf X richt zich op en ondersteunt zijn klanten in de financiële sector met expertise op het gebied van de uitgifte en aanvaarding/acceptatie van betaalinstrumenten (bijv. creditcards).

Deze zin moet toch anders gelezen worden, namelijk als: Bedrijf X ondersteunt zijn klanten in de financiele sector met expertise op het gebied van de marktsegmenten uitgifte (commercieel, consument/credit en debet), acceptatie, prepaid en loyalty.

In deze context blijkt de term 'acquiring' vooral te verwijzen naar het 'accepteren van kaarttransacties'. De vraag is of je dit hier kortweg met 'acceptatie' kunt vertalen (vgl. ook 'uitgifte' of meer voluit 'kaartuitgifte' / 'uitgifte van betaalkaarten')
