English term or phrase: Nog een raadsel... de logica ontgaat me!
Nog een raadsel uit mijn HRM artikel.

Als argument voor het aannemen van jonge mensen, zegt een bedrijf:

younger workers are needed to fill the gap as the older workers leave. If organizations don’t do anything it is obvious for older workers to come in.

Ik snap dat laatste niet. Dus ik denk dat het 'to come in' het raadsel is... :-)

Explanation:
No problem to me. If the organisation does not employ younger people they will be forced to take in older persons (which they donot want to do as they are more experienced...)

Any company will run out of employees if it has a rotten stinking name. If the pay is good, better, best, the best and high it will not run out of employees. Check: Danger money for security people in Irak. I kew an employer who in fact only employed retired people, who were bored staying at home. he produced the best shoes...

Notes to answerer
Asker: But that would still fill the gap, wouldn't it? I would have thought that argument would be that the companies would run out of employers.

Asker:

Asker: employees, I mean. :-)
