Beoordeling (review) door de directe leidinggevende (first level of management above the staff member concerned).

Context:

In high-performing organisations around the globe. a “one-up” review is seen as a best practice process. At X, the “one-up”review is a cornerstone of our performance management process. In the one-up review, a people manager meets with his/her own manager to discuss the performance of his/her team members. While such discussions may happen informally all year long, at year end this is a formal discussion to ensure consistency in the review process and set year end ratings.

In de tekst komt ook de term "one up discussions" voor. Weet iemand een pakkende vertaling voor "one up"? (liever geen beschrijvingen omdat de term veelvuldig wordt gebruikt).

Explanation:
Ik ben bang dat je toch niet echt om deze "beschrijving" heen komt. Hij is nu iets korter, maar kennelijk zijn "one up" en "one down" de termen die gebruikt worden om de relatie "leider" "volger" aan te geven.
