uit esthetische overwegingen zou ik ervoor kiezen deze termen onvertaald over te nemen. het is zo te zien min of meer gericht op programmeurs/techneuten (ik mag niet hopen dat het winkelende publiek wordt geconfronteerd met promotion suffixes).
en een zoekprefix of een promotiesuffix vind ik vele malen fraaier en duidelijker dan een zoekvoorvoegsel of een promotieachtervoegsel. het doelpubliek weet hopelijk wat er precies mee bedoeld wordt (vermoedelijk een kort stringetje dat voor of achter een ander stringetje geplakt wordt om iets te specificeren, of zoiets :^) |
