These two portfolios can be considered funded or as an overlay. The overlay approach has been chosen in the example we refer to, with the funded portfolio delegated to various managers: it makes possible risk management across mandates.
Ik vraag me of wat de juiste vertaling is van 'funded' in dit verband. Bij voorbaat dank voor suggesties. |

Hier zou ik voor iets als "geconsolideerd" of "overlappend" kiezen
Ik vermoed dat de "or",hier geen tegenstelling aanduidt, maar eerder een gelijksoortig iets. De bronzin is vermoed ik wat verwarrend geformuleerd.
Maar heel zeker ben ik er nu ook niet van.
Met overlay bedoelt men dat men in de gaten gehouden wordt wat de managers elk met hun fonds doen. vb de ene koopt Ahold, de andere verkoopt het, de behoudt krijgt zelfde positie, maar krijgt 2 x transactiekost. Te vermijden uiteraard.

| Grading comment De uitleg is goed, hoewel volgens mij toch een zekere tegenstelling bestaat tussen 'overlay' en 'funded'. In ieder geval bedankt voor de bijdrage!
