Zin: "To comply with the investment policy, the Sub-Fund may use financial derivative instruments, dealt in on a regulated market or not, subject to the provisions of Section “Investments restrictions” of the Full Prospectus, for the purposes of hedging currency risks, interest rate risk and market risk and for efficient portfolio management, therefore including investment purposes, to meet the sub-fund’s investment objective."

Weet niet goed hoe ik het deel "therefore including investment purposes" in de vertaling moet inpassen.

ik lees het zo:

... met als (mogelijke) doeleinden het afdekken van valutarisico's, rentevoetrisico's en marktrisico's alsmede een efficiënt portfoliobeheer, derhalve met inbegrip van investeringsdoeleinden, ...

een van de mogelijke/toegestane doeleinden voor het gebruik van die derivaten is een efficiënt beheer van de beleggingsportefeuille, en daar rekent men (blijkbaar!) ook 'investeringsdoeleinden' toe.

derivaten mogen dus niet alleen ter afdekking worden gebruikt, maar ook 'gewoon' om in te beleggen (lees: mee te speculeren) omdat dit valt onder een efficiënt portfoliobeheer.
