Er bestaat waarschijnlijk geen standaarduitdrukking in het Nederlands, omdat (in ieder geval in Nederland, maar waarschijnlijk ook in België) een dergelijke bepaling onwettig is.
In Nederland bepaalt de wet dat een product vrij van defecten moet zijn, anders bestaat er onmiddellijk en automatisch wettelijke garantie.
