Waarschijnlijk wordt een aanslsuitblok voor signaalvoerende draden bedoeld. Omdat het om een octrooitekst gaat, zou ik het zeer letterlijk vertalen, bijvoorbeeld 'aansluitsamenstel' of, iets vrijer maar wel natuurlijker, als 'aansluitconstructie'. 'Signaalaansluitsamenstel' klinkt nogal onbeholpen -- ik weet het -- maar voor een octrooitekst zou ik haast zeggen: des te beter ;-)
Suggestie voor de vertaling van je zin: Beide van dergelijke armen bevinden zich bij voorkeur [of: voorkeurshalve] langs het onderste gedeelte van het aansluitsamenstel. |
