wordt dit vertaald door "ruwe zuiverheid" of bestaat hiervoor een specifieke wetenschappelijke term?

Explanation:
Dit lijkt me lastig. 'Crude' wordt in het Engels vaak als zelfstandig naamwoord gebruik, terwijl het eigenlijk een bijvoegelijk naamwoord is (zie bijvoorbeeld de onderstaande referenties). 'Crude purity' betekent dus eigenlijk 'zuiverheid van het ruwe materiaal' of 'zuiverheid van de grondstof', en -- hoewel ik geen expert ben op dit gebied -- denk ik dat je normaal gesproken het begrip op deze wijze zou kunnen vertalen. Voor een octrooitekst is dat waarschijnlijk te vrij. Ik zou dit oplossen door de term 'crude' te handhaven, maar wel met aanhalingstekens.
