Asker: Dus de "gearbox" is toch gewoon een versnellingsbak? Ik dacht dat dat hier net minder voor de hand lag, maar kan het uiteraard mis hebben.

Explanation:
Gear is koppeling in een auto heet de koppeling de versnelling, misschien niet in een mechanishe actuator. Volgens mij kan je koppeling of koppelings mechanisme het veiligste gebruiken.

Asker: Ja, dat dacht ik dus ook... juist omdat het hier niet over auto's gaat, zocht ik naar iets anders dan "versnelling".
