Ten tweede gaat de definitie van de filtercoëfficiënt primair uit van de *stof*, zij het in relatie tot een bepaald filter. Uiteindelijk gaat het er hier in de tekst om dat het *filter* zo goed mogelijk kan discrimineren tussen verschillende stoffen (klein vs. groot). Al met al denk ik dat de voorgestelde term, dus een steile filtercurve (net als bij een 'low-pass filter' in het geval van elektronica), de betekenis goed overbrengt. |
