The concurrent plasma volume does not include the chase volume.
Do I understand well that "chase" is "achtergebleven", or something like that?
Also, I am not sure about the meaning of the word "concurrent". Could it be "begeleidend"?
Explanation: Ik kan er geen referenties voor vinden, maar dit lijkt me wat er bedoeld wordt. Het nagestreefde (benodigde) volume moet worden opgeteld bij het plasmavolume.

chase betekent iets dat volgt op iets anders, dat maakt dat ik denk dat er iets tegelijkertijd gebeurt en iets dat daar op volgt. Dat wordt met alcohol (ook vloeistof) zo gebruikt. Een chaser is ieen drankje waar je het vorige mee wegspoelt. Dat zou het
' de hoeveelheid na-vloeistof' kunnen maken. Komt van achtervolgen zou ik zeggen.

Asker: In jenever destillation you have the term "de naloop", but as I am not sure if that word can be used for plasma, I have finally chosen the term "het volume van de nagelopen vloeistof".
