De proefdiermuizen worden axenisch gekweekt, dwz in afwezigheid van enige andere organismen. Dan worden bekende organismen toegevoegd, zodat je precies weet wat er in de muis aanwezig is. Axenisch (eng: axenic, geen andere organismen) is wel een bekende term, van gnotoxenisch (alleen bekende andere organismen) vind ik ook geen NL refs, maar volgens mij is de analogie met axenisch voldoende om de NL term te kunnen gebruiken. |
