katheter met niet-hidrofiele deklaag Explanation: There´s a typo in your term. Should be hydrophilically. As I understand the coating is used to facilitate movements of the catheter inside the body not to protect the catheter. Hydrophilic coatings are used for better lubrication; they should be better than non-hydrophilic ones. So, I am affraid, the term "bescherming" doesn´t apply here. Sites in English: Hydrophilic Coating: Lubricious coating facilitates device placement in vasculature. The only hydrophilically coated EP catheter to date. http://www.cardima.com/tracer.html Consistent Coating Performance The Mirage is hydrophilically coated with the most advanced coating technology that allows for excellent lubricity during catheter navigation. The coating is adhered to the guidewire shaft and distal tip by a method that provides enhanced durability and tenacity throughout a procedure. http://www.microtherapeutics.com/products_mirage.htm. I found the term in French in a pdf document: hydrophilically coated = couverte d´un revetenment hydrophile http://pctgazette.wipo.int/pdf/361998-1.pdf. Couverte / revetiment is definitelly (dek)laag hydrophile (French) = hidrophiel (try, for example, Eurodicautom) I hope this helps. The best of luck. see above |
