English to Dutch translations [PRO]
Music | | English term or phrase: fills | In addition to simply playing chords or individual drum pieces, you can use Patterns/Fills to play a riff or a drum fill that is pre-programmed.
On the Touch Screen, you will see an area called the 'Pattern' area – if you slide your stylus over this area, you will play a pre-programmed pattern. Select which pattern you want to play by using the +Control Pad and the L button.
Using patterns, you can play complex riffs and fills without having to press a complicated sequence of buttons.

Een fill is een moment in de muziek waar de melodie even zwijgt, waardoor de drummer even de gelegenheid heeft om zijn/haar vaste patroon te verlaten en wat noten te spelen. Zo laat hij/zij zich even van zijn beste kant horen. Hij/zij 'vult' a.h.w. het gat dat de melodie laat vallen.
