Explanation:
In de VS hebben kerken en andere organisaties Community Outreach Coordinators, veranwoordelijk voor contact tussen de organisatie en de buitenwereld. Afhankelijk van de grootte van de organisatie zijn er meer specifieke functie-omschrijvingen (zie 2e link). Meestal moet deze persoon maatschappelijke activiteiten zien te vinden (beurzen, tentoonstellingen, acties etc) waar de organisatie vertegenwoordigd kan worden en dan de aanwezigheid coordineren. Ook verantwoordelijk voor folder-verspreiding in bedrijven, scholen, publieke instellingen, dokters etc. Outreach coordinators gaan ook bv naar scholen om praatjes te houden.
