English term or phrase: doing the right thing

I always have difficulty with phrases like this. The sentence runs: "I know that I can count on your support and will always do what I can to support you in doing the right thing". If I translate it into "doen wat goed is" it just doesn't sound right. Does anyone have a better suggestion? The text is about ethical standards, code of conduct, bribery etc. So doing the right thing means that employees must refrain from improper business dealings and "do the right thing".
