Ik heb heel wat behangen in m'n leven en nog nooit van deze uitdrukking gehoord. Maar het betekent m.i. dat er een "slant in de weave" kan zitten van 1% - bij textiele muurbedekking. Het behang is dus niet 100% "rechtlijnig" (of haaks), en heeft een marge van 1%.
