root beer float Explanation: Hoi, Sandra, Carla's antwoord over de uitgestoken meloenballetjes enz. is heel goed, dus geef de KudoZ maar aan haar :-) als je wil. Ik wilde even zeggen wat het is waar je op doelde: Mijn man en kinderen zijn gek op 'root beer float' dat geen drankje met slagroom is, maar traditioneel gemaakt met een scoop vanille ijs erin.:-( Misschien doen ze er tegenwoordig ook meloenballetjes in, maar dat was voorheen niet het geval) Tot groot verdriet van mijn gezin is er niets vergelijkbaars te koop in NL dat je ervoor in de plaats kan nemen. Ik hou er persoonlijk niet van, want het heeft een nogal medicinaal smaakje, gemberachtig, maar ziet eruit als Coke, dus als je dat drinkt en je verwacht een Coke-smaak, dan is het bijna wel een klap in je gezicht :-) Dit ter verduidelijking!
