In het voorbeeld van Asker gaat het om een onbemand platform. Voor bepaalde 'interventies' (lees: onderhoud, werkzaamheden) is natuurlijk bemanning nodig: het zogenaamde Satellite Intervention Team. Gedurende de werkzaamheden verblijft deze bemanning aan boord van het tijdelijk naastgelegen YYY-accommodatieplatform [geen boorplatform dus!!].
