Een landhoofd schijnt altijd kunstmatig te zijn en een landengte (istmus) bevindt zich altijd tussen twee grotere stukken land.

Landarm komt ook voor, maar ik kan geen officiële site vinden.

Wat mooi! Ik kreeg een brok in mijn keel toen ik een uurtje geleden aankwam: prachtig blauw water, blauwe lucht, links een landarm met een gekartelde bovenrand van boomtoppen, er achter een laaghangende wolkenpartij. Rechts, verderop, een landarm van heuvels.
