Explanation:
Ik denk dat je dit het best omschrijft. Als een speler de bal slaat, ligt die min of meer in het midden tussen zijn/haar benen. Als hij/zij de bal speelt terwijl die meer vooraan ligt, dit is meer in de richting van het linkerbeen (voor een rechtshandige speler), krijg je meer lift. Als je het clubvlak ook nog wat open houdt, d.i. naar rechts draait, krijg je nog meer lift. Dit is wat hier bedoeld wordt en is van toepassing op approach-shots of shots waarbij de bal heel veel lift krijgt, dus hoog vliegt, maar weinig afstand aflegt en onmiddellijk doodvalt bij de landing.
