Explanation:
Een van de enorme nadelen van de schermen van laptops/notebooks (LCD-schermen, maar vooral de duurdere TFT-schermen), is het feit dat ze niet lichtsterk zijn. Als je er mee in de zon gaat zitten, of zelfs maar in een sterk verlichte ruimte, dan zie je niets, een zwart scherm.


Die coating is bedoeld om de informatie toch zichtbaar te maken in een sterk verlichte omgeving.

Interessant, trouwens. Ik heb er nog nooit een gezien die ook echt werkte. ^_^
