De betekenis van 'real-time' is dat er geen vertraging op zit, dat de mails niet met enige vertraging van een server naar de GSM moeten gestuurd worden, maar dat ze onmiddelijk bij ontvangst ook op de GSM te raadplegen zijn. Vandaar mijn keuze voor 'toegang'

agree  Paul Peeraerts: Technisch gezien moet er steeds een interval zijn, eventueel iedere seconde, maar wellicht kan je dat "permanent" noemen.

  -> Bij controle om de duizendste seconde (technisch mogelijk) is dit voor mensen niet te onderscheiden van permanent.
agree  FionaT: 'biedt'. Inderdaad, als je 'realtime' niet onvertaald laat is dit een goede optie, eventueel 'constante controle'
