English term or phrase: A sense of occasion

Een vertaling over luxe hotels in de UK. Hier staat
"The accommodation may be grand but these hotels are never stuffy but manage to combine informality with a sense of occasion."
Een mooie vertaling voor 'a sense of occasion' lukt me niet zo goed.
Alles klinkt in het Nederlands zo omslachtig: "met een gevoel dat het een feestelijke/bijzondere gelegenheid betreft."
