Then the **inward passage** shall be deferred to daylight for further assessment.
Day arrivals
During the hours of daylight, when the wind is in the southerly quarter, and when one or more of the following conditions is forecast or applies:
• a pilot is unable (or unlikely) to board outside the entrance
• Vis <4nm
• Assumed or observed swell at entrance >5m (reported as 6m significant or greater at the Waverider buoy)
• Wind at entrance >50knots (reported as steady 60kt or greater at Beacon Hill)
