Deze term komt voor in een handboek claims van een transpportbedrijf en staat in een rijtje van documenten die met de claim ingestuurd moeten worden.

Kan ik hier volstaan met "Machtiging" of hebben we voor dit formulier een mooiere naam?

Ik lees het aldus dat een verklaring in deze Cessie dient te woden opgenomen die... etc.

Een duidelijke beschrijving van "Cession" in wapedia:
Under the civil law system, cession is an act by which a personal claim is transferred from one party (the cedent) to another, (the cessionary). Whereas real rights are transferred by delivery, personal rights are transferred by cession. Once the obligation of the debtor is transferred, the creditor is entirely substituted. The original creditor (cedent) loses his right to claim and the new creditor (cessionary) gains that right.

Een machtiging houdt een toestemming in, geen overdracht van rechten waarbij de overdragende partij zijn rechten verliest, zoals bij de cessie.
