Explanation:
I consulted a mining engineer who is also one of the authors of the ER-EN-ET mining dictionary. "Rookimine" is a very specific term, used in this context only in mining - removing loose rocks and other materjial from rock surface. BTW, hydro scaling is not used in Estonia (yet).
