Explanation:
It may be a bit late, but I stumbled upon this question and as I am a trained nurse with 10 years of experience, I need to say that FISTEL is not just inapproppriate in this case, it is not actually an Estonian word (Sorry, Andreas!). A fistula (ET term FISTUL) is an epithelial - not synthetic! - lined track connecting two hollow viscera (Dictionary of Science and Technology), therefore you need to use either of the terms denoting an artificial transplant (the first term is more Estonian, the second more scientific)
