English to Finnish translations [PRO] Cinema, Film, TV, Drama / 24, subtitling | | English term or phrase: handwringing | In the scene, the President is in a meeting with her cabinet and the Secretary of State is opposed to the proposed military action. When he makes his concerns known once more, the President stops him mid-stream and says;
'We are done discussing this, if you cannot get behind this, then I will find someone else who can - but I am done with your handwringing'
I disagreed with the Swedish subtitling where 'handwringing' was subtitled 'tvivel' - i.e. doubts, which did not seem to fit
How would this be conveyed in Finnish?

| | Finnish translation:voivottelu, päivittely | Explanation: In my opinion, these convey the English meaning of complaining and fussing without offering a solution or even an alternative. |
