Social Sciences - Education / Pedagogy | | English term or phrase: comparative national studies | | Tämä on jälleen kerran alun perin venäjästä (sravnitelnoje stranovedenije). Tuo 'stranovedenije' voisi olla "maantieto", siis merkityksessä "tietämys jostain maasta", mutta koska termi on tunnetusti suomen kielessä rasitettu, on 'stranovedenije' usein käännetty 'maantuntemus'. Tässä oppiaineessa kuitenkin tarkastellaan vertailevasti eri maita, siis olisiko oppiaine "vertaileva maantuntemus" vaiko "vertaileva maidentuntemus". Kumpikin sopii minusta huonosti yliopistolliseksi (oikeustieteen) oppiaineeksi, joten heitänpä tässä sanasepoille (ja hmm -sirpoille) haasteen. |
